FRUIT OF THE WEEK: CLEMENTINE

So what in a clementine is good for you?

  • 3 clementines give you all the Vitamin C you need for a day (children under 9 only need one). Besides protecting the immune system, the vitamin also helps transport fat to cells to be convert into energy. So don’t miss out on this stuff!
  • Calcium can be found in clementines, which aids in muscle contraction and bone growth. Say no thanks to osteoporosis…
  • Get your Potassium from this fruit… needed to maintain water balance in the body between cells and body fluids and helps to lower blood pressure.
  • And lastly Fiber – let’s get those tummies moving, help them empty out the trash…
